Polargo is committed to creating desirable, sustainable and safe products, which are inspired by nature. Our products are based on ingredients from natural sources wherever possible, but may contain synthetic chemicals where they are necessary for the quality, safety or efficacy of products and where no suitable natural alternatives exist.

Polargo will manage the use of chemicals in a responsible manner by:

• Applying a very precautionary principle to the use of chemicals

• Continuously reviewing and updating our criteria and guidelines for the development of new products

• Conducting regular reviews of our use of ingredients against latest knowledge of alternate substances

• Engaging with stakeholders to help inform our strategy and action plans

• Communicating our position to our product suppliers

• Conducting open and transparent communication with customers and consumers
