*PEGs (polyethylene glycols) are petroleum-based ingredients that are widely used in cosmetics as thickeners, solvents, softeners and moisture carriers. PEGs are commonly used as cosmetic cream bases. They are also used in medicines as laxatives.

WATER: Most have water at the top of the ingredient list. With a lot of water, it also needs to be preserved. We have no preservatives as the water content is relatively low, and the content is “self-preserving”. 

Sodium monofluorophosphate - fluoride protects by strengthening the tooth so that it has more resistance to caries attacks. fluoride also has a positive effect on the environment surrounding the tooth. ****

Cellulose Gum, Xanthan Gum - sustainable combination of consistency-building ingredients

XYLITOL: gentle polishing with pure, carefully selected combination of baking soda.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, organic: polishing and cleaning with pure baking soda and scientifically formulated combination of silicate (hydrated).

BAKING SODA: natural benefits. When sodium bicarbonate is mixed with saliva, it acts as an alkaline pH buffer. It neutralizes plaque acids that can help minimize microbes, i.e. bacteria.
